Hi again! Some fun news going on here. Our son, Alex, who has been participting in the Sharon Art Club will have one of his drawings on display in the Spring Arts Eggstravaganza being held at the Cravings Cafe in downtown Sharon. He worked really hard on his piece, featuring Link from the Legend of Zelda game series, to get it done on time. And it turned out great! He is also going to help setup for the show. He loves lending a hand and getting involved in projects like this. Our other little budding artist, Andy, will also have a painting in the show! So come on down and check out all the great works made by all the talented artists from Sharon! Hope to see you there!

Hello all! It's been a long time since we posted here but it's also been a busy year. We've still been creating here and there but now we have a new medium to work in. Recently we purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro and so far it is awesome! I've started sketching comic drawings on it and plan on working on some motion comics as well. As soon as we get some new work finished I will upload it. Happy creating!

New Larger Inks & Updates!

Posted on February 27, 2016 at 2:00 PM Comments comments (1)

Hi there! We're back again with some additions and updates to the website. We recently took a trip up to Edinboro, PA to visit Gallery 104, where Theresa has a large selection of her Alcohol Inks on loan and for sale. We swapped out some of her larger Alcohol Inks for several of her newer ones. For more information on what she has for sale there check out her "ART ON LOAN" gallery or go to to contact them directly. Here's just one of the newer pieces she has on loan there:

And speaking of her larger inks, Theresa's been working on going even bigger with her Alcohol inks. She recently started working on Alcohol Ink pieces that top out at 20" x 26"! And that may be only the start to how big they can get. We've added some of these new pieces to the "ART FOR SALE" gallery. Here's an example of one of them:

We have also heard that the Waterfire festival will be coming back to Sharon this year! As of right now, we have tentatively begun preparing to be a part of two of the three events scheduled for 2016. Stay tuned here or to for more information. And for more information about Waterfire Sharon please visit their home page at

And I have added some inked pages of the Minecraft Comic I am working on into a new gallery called Comic Art. Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more additions.

It's been a while since we shared with everyone but we were very busy preparing for the Waterfire, Sharon event where Theresa showcased her alcohol inks. Waterfire was September 26 and was a great turnout. Many thanks go out to all the people who stopped by to admire and purchase Theresa's art. We had a wonderful experience with the whole thing.

Also, Theresa has several pieces in the upcoming Artists Raise the Roof show starting Friday, October 9 at The Woman's Club of Erie in Erie, PA. We'll be there Friday at the opening reception and the show runs the rest of the weekend. Hope to see you there too! For more info check out and the flyer posted below.

And finally we'll be adding and updating the website within the next few weeks so stay tuned!

So I have been investigating the world of Alcohol Inks. I am trying to fuse them into my acrylic paintings, as well as tackle the technicque on paper. I hope to have a booth at the 9/26/15 Sharon Waterfire Arts Festival so stay tuned!

Color Crazy Prints

So lately I have been at a creative slump with all of the paintings that need finished up. Not sure why, after sitting at a desk all day at work, but I have taken a liking to manipulating the colors on digital images of my paintings. For some reason I find that they are more interesting this way!

Hard at Work

Happy to have added a few new works for sale in the Gallery! I have been very creative lately, not sure what has gotten into me. I think I am rebelling against the close of summer by working as dilligently as I can while I have the summer breeze and sun flooding my studio. I have been working on this tree for awhile, keeps getting creepier and creepier. I am excited though because I feel like I am merging the old me with the new me right now. Can't wait to see where this goes....

Also thinking about merging this style into some more organic "earthy" pieces. I have always enjoyed being in the woods and don't think I have ever created work paying homage to the wonderful earth we inhabit. One of my favorite places on earth (I haven't really gotten to visit much of the earth yet) but I absolutely enjoy being at Hocking Hills State Park in Logan, Ohio. It is absolutely an artists paradise there! I just laid down the "bones" of a new painting from one of the thousands of pictures I have taken (I seem to take more with every visit). I think this could be a really interesting series....

I hope that you all are enjoying our blog and that you keep checking back for new stuff! I am getting better at this so please stay tuned!!!

New Work Abounds!

By day one way, by night another...this little cutie, titled "Fire & Ice", is finally finished after a year. I started this to honor my entry into last years Waterfire Sharon. We installed flickering LED lights, so it looks like real fire when it's turned pretty cool!!!

And I'm starting on another lighted piece that has been years in the making. This table was my grandmas and I have had it for years now. It has a glass top and cool retro design. For awhile I have been thinking of turning it into a lighted painting/table but could never find the time to get if finished. Today, since we were not able to leave for vacation to SC because of her passing, I had Pete finish the frame for the painting that will sit inside the table. It is finished and ready to be painted.

I am looking to you all for a direction to take this in. I think it would be cool to make this completely interactive, so let me know what your thoughts are!!! Will it be abstract or realistic? Wacky or refined. Post your comments here or go to our Facebook page, and Like us to comment. I will make sure to post every step of the way...Thanks!
